Welcome to the Florida State University World Affairs Program (WAP) website!  WAP is a student-academic program at FSU, which gives the students of FSU a social, academic, and competitive outlet in an educational setting.

WAP’s traveling teams compete nationally and internationally on behalf of FSU at model United Nations and Crisis Simulation conferences.  In addition, WAP also encourages personal, social, and political growth among its members, including through on-campus activities.

Membership in the organization is both free and open to FSU students of all majors and levels.

Student meetings are held at times announced on our Facebook page.  WAP uses its social media pages on FacebookLinked In, and Twitter to communicate with its student and alumni members, and if you are a current or former WAP member, you are encouraged to connect with us on social media. You can also read past editions of our newsletter to learn more about us.

Helpful resources are also available to assist new students to get involved. If you have any questions or are interested in joining please feel free to e-mail the Director or one of our other student Officers.

WAP also has a robust set of alumni who support the Program and its student and alumni members in various ways, including by providing mentoring, guidance, connections to potential job opportunities, and in other ways.  WAP alumni and friends of the Program also support WAP financially, and if you are interested in discussing donation opportunites or other ways of supporting the Program, please see our donations page or e-mail the Chairman of our Board of Advisors.  If you are a recent alumni or not yet on our mailing list, you can click here to signup for our alumni email list.
